How many total pairs of shoes do you own?

Currently, none that are intact.

I have 7 pairs of shoes, and 2 of those are slippers/moccasins that I only wear around the house.

I have three because I don't count flip-flops as shoes.

I'm not really into shoes, I think I have some 15 pairs of shoes/boots.
Not cos I buy so many, but cos I'm so careful with them they last me forever. I got really nice, sexy shoes that are 15 yrs old. Most of my high-heeled shoes and boots are 13-14 yrs old. Hardly ever wear them so there's little wear and tear. My fave pair of boots was 12 yrs old when I chucked them last year. Still miss 'em but they were beyond repair. It's sneakers daily. |

Of the 47, six are pairs of boots, seven pairs of sandals, four pairs of athletic shoes, five are 'dress' shoes. The rest are flats that are patterned/metallic/textured. My work clothes usually really basic (solid blouse, solid pants) so the fun shoes are my bit of flair.

I saw shoes and thought I would post. I came over from america to england with 84 pairs of shoes. I sold quite a lot of them but have just over 30 now. It was normal in my family to buy so many shoes. I thought it was normal until I hear how some have less than 20 then started getting rid of them [at least the too high heels]

Update: I just did a shoe inventory and shoe purge. I am down to 39 pairs of shoes and boots!
Time to go get some new fall shoes!
