Since being with a girl only seems to aggravate you ... maybe you should stay single?
Or learn some more about men and women and stop accusing and blaming the other gender all the time. |

Why women think hiding stuff is good for relationship? What makes you think women hide things because they think it's good for their relationship? In my experience when someone hides something it's generally not because it's good and women are expert at hiding and conniving and it's usually not for their partner's well-being. If you feel she's hiding things from you then you have to boot her out your life, preferably before marriage and before she's pregnant. |

Yea Jimmy, this might not be your best post, no offense. The accustory tone. Not good man. All humans start life as females. At a certain time a dna sequence adds the male coding to make the transfermation. So, the battle of the sexes can be debated, but you can't say it's because females are more slick than men. It doesn't wash since both sexes have been withholding info since Ugg could throw a club at a fleeing possible cavewoman.
Sometimes it is nessesary. i.e. a rape victim will share this info with a loved one, but not right away. i.e. a convicted felon will share as soon as it can be handled. And yes, these might be deal breakers in a relationship. But can you blame them for, as you call it, hiding stuff? Thanks Jimmy. |

BECAUSE IT IS!
I don't want to know that they are coloring their grey hair, lifting their boobs, or wearing girdles. I don't want to know all their problems or secretes. I just want to know the finished product until there is a need for me to know the problems. After I unfortunately was shown how painful it was to have a baby soft kitty from an ex-girlfriend. I felt bad every time I saw one after that. Well, okay, I was fine ten minutes later. I mean really, is there anything better? I think not. But, you get the idea. Should she hide her flaws? Hell yeah! |

Why think hiding stuff is good
That's pretty much what you're asking. Do you wrap presents? Do you cover wounds? Do you wear clothes? Do you know any secrets at all about anyone? Do you get your paycheck in an envelop? People hide things because they've come to believe there is a benefit to doing so, because it's the norm to do so, and because they don't know how to handle it if they don't. Other than that Why women think hiding stuff is good for relationship
Have you ever watched any show that was made at any time since the invention of movies or t.v.? What are 99% of the stories? People hiding information from each other. Who loves who, waiting for the right time to say the right thing hiding it in the mean time, stuttering confessions, digging out the truth, confessions, secret abilities. IMO the better question would be "How, as an adult, could you possibly believe anyone is primarily motivated by, and constantly mindful of, what's good for the relationship, or that such a creature exists that isn't, at any time, hiding something from someone else?" |

I don't think women hide things in a relationship, I think that both women and men are capable of hiding things in relationships, yet the true question should be why do PEOPLE hide things in most relationships and why can it be unhealthy!

Why women think hiding stuff is good for relationship?
Secrecy or hiding anything in a relationship is not healthy at all. Men and women should be open in sharing everything in order not to give each other a reason to doubt . What it does is create a gap and may jeopardize a partnership, so do avoid hiding stuffs because that would be equivalent to lying or betrayal of trust |

Jimmy roy I wish you luck in life. I used to be like you, judging all people by the experience that hurt me.
generalizations like 'why do all....' show that you're still giving that thing power over your life. I hope you find the more positive in life and focus less on the negative. why do people, men or women, hide things? well, it depends on the context. some people omit things from the past because they have moved on in life. some people don't want to burden orhers with their problems. some people think the world doesn't care. or it could be a matter of different perception. something you think is a big deal might not be so significant to another. they may not mention it because to them it was minor in the perspective of the bigger picture wish you the best |

Thanks Rob, but inviting her ex to stay at her house over weekend without informing me just because he broke and begged her doesn't make a relationship stronger. So hiding stuff doesn't make relationship stronger but introduces trust issues. |
