I do already have a ready made family. It's not hard finding a dude.BUT I want a man and a father figure for my kids do you think thats too much to ask for in this day and time?

no not really, but it also depends on the guy if he wants to get into a already made family, as some guys dont want to be in one and some dont mind

Well I guess thats why I'm still single. Because if a man can't take me with my kids I cant even date him.

I think pre made familys are fine as long as the guy has some say in the family after your together..

That is a hard one...I have 3 children myself from a previous marriage and is hard also to find someone understanding of the children. They don't even live with me but freaks some of the ladies out when I date.....wish you the best....its hard to find.

the only problems i see with a ready made family is there are alot of women( not trying ot stereo type) that wont let a "step father" discipline their previous children.. and that can make the situation really difficult

there are men who accept ready made families and some who don't.I would like a man to be upfront about his dislike for kids so i dont waste my time.if ya don't like the kids then you are gone.

I think there a men out there open to a ready made family. I wouldn't put off dating someone just because she has kids.
I wouldn't let a stepfather discipline your kids. The stepfather should be your husband and more like a friend to the kids, not a parent. That's just my opinion. I know how its when a stepfather comes in and tries to be the parent. |

as far as the discipline goes i'm oldfashion in a since but I all aprove the discipline i use. Because theres a thin like between love and abuse.

I love children, infact Im a premade family my self..I do agree with hupuppy though...then again some guys dont deserve children so you gotta be careful...I say thre is a 10 date rule befor my kids are brought in to it..

Hey averag Joe you're better than me I've went two years just being friends with a guy before he meet my kids. but now that he meet them My kids don't even like him. I'm glad I waited because with that hapening I know he is not the one for me from his reaction to my kids reaction.

I think yeah if your children dont like the person your seeing gotta get out of it because some times they see things you cannot because your wraped up in what your doing..Even if Im in love with a person if we cant make it work with the kids.....SORRY gotta go
