there's this guy by ************ I met here who scammed me of $6800 before I realise what he was up to. he says he's in the military and sends fake pics and info. always tell girls he's gonna send them ah gift and then u get all sorts of emails asking for all different fees and never received any package

Sorry you got scammed.. I've had them on here all the time.. I just delete them.. When these guys/girls start spinning you all the things you want to hear it's easy to get caught up in their lies etc.. then the money requests start... Dating sites are full of them now.

Please especially if they are in the military or say they are don't give out any of your information and don't ever give them any money. Just block them instantly. Also, look at how they write using the English language. If they are from the United States they should know how to write clear English. You can tell how they transpose words. I am always looking out for scammers especially since mingle sends out two emails when you first sign up telling us to be careful about scammers and your privacy.

99% of the msgs I get are from men in the military/army. I take it they r the scammers and should not be trusted? I'm just trying to understand the real from the fakes. I don't get who can be trusted, yet all I have been getting r military men!
