Topic: Does anyone feel that....

Some people's responses are so long winded that you skip over them? For me..I don't have that kind of patience unless I am reading a good novel I wish I could write long winded responses... but after a few words, maybe a sentence or two... I would run out of things to say. I try to read long responses and see what they have to say. But if it is one long paragraph, I get hungry... so I have to have a snack... and that makes me gain more weight. I'm still working on the weight I gain last Christmas holiday. I don't know about feel ... some are so long on subjects ... as some are trying to get the facts out there ... I find myself typing long posts... and say to self... would I read this long damn post ...if it was not mine their are some I look over and some I do read ... just a matter of the topic ... even the ones that are dissection by others ...I find fascinating and will read their answers ...

Often long-winded myself. Depends on the topic. Same for skipping over it, depends on the topic, my time etc. There's also ppl I hardly ever read, regardless if they're long winded or not. In general I think I skip more BS one-liners that I don't feel add anything to my life and/or the convo than long-winded postings ...

Maybe I read so much of the same in the past that it usually doesn't interest me so much now

I try not to not to skip over them because the person has a lot of thought on the subject but if it turns into a sermon then I am out of there.

It is my experience that once I answer an email, they think I'm interested... so now I just don't respond.

Well there's long winded for the winds sake. And there is long story. As long as its not someone looking for an ego measage, I read it. But some posts have 54 pages????? AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FO THAT...
