Was chatting with a user yesterday and today her profile says that she's deactivated? What's going on?

I had the same problem,but the person was shown online , whenever I click on the profile it says "the user is deactivated" may I know why so?

When members show Deactivated it could be due to they did it, system caught them or Admin did it..
