We know a lot of Republicans in power, when Obama took the helm, had made up their minds from the very beginning not to help him.
Gtfo outta here with this crap laugh Obama hasn't offered once to work across party lines. Jesus H. Christ keep towing the liberal line.
But please...keep cucking for Mrs I Landed Under Sniper Fire. Just another head to watch explode in November.
Now go ahead Mr Upside Down Quote, with your typical progressive liberal marching orders reply.

I disagree.

I think a lot of things have happened positively in the last 16 years, but with the advent of the housing collapse, which as you'll recall was started by the Republicans in office who did away with special banking regulations that would have prevented it, things took a sharp nose-dive for us all.

We know a lot of Republicans in power, when Obama took the helm, had made up their minds from the very beginning not to help him.

No compromise. No agreements. No sit-down discussions. Nothing.

And that is REALLY what hurt this country the most. The GOP didn't even TRY.

Now you tell me something...what good is a political party that doesn't even try to help its own people?

you liberals just can't get off the "Republicans did it" bandwagon, can you?

never mind the bad decisions that have been made for the last eight years, or the fact the military budget is the same as it was when bush was in office, even tho there are no wars we are in right now... or the fact the "hope and change" never actually happened... if you think this is all republicans fault, then you shouldn't call yourself a writer, or even a lowly blogger, because you just can't see or understand whats really going on...
it won't matter who is president, because NOTHING has changed in the last 16 years...

ummm.. guess again... it was started by ole slick willie, the last thing he did in office before bush took over... it was all a liberal scam to force evict millions of homeowers, who never should have been able to by a house in the first place, to buy back the properties for pennies on the dollar...

http://tjhancock.wordpress.com/housing-bubble-financial-crisis-detailed-comprehensive-assessment/

the only way it was "bushs fault" (The two words stupid liberals use the most) was that he didn't repeal what the liberals had caused...

Actually I'd call myself a brilliant write and a rather prolific blogger. =)

And dealing with the political morass as I have for the past 30 years, including four presidential campaigns, two mayoral campaigns, and personal friends with congressmen and state senators gives me quite a bit of knowledge to know what I'm talking about. =)

What have you got? *smug grin*

Ay Caramba!noway

Heck, what are you doing here among all those lowly Peons then?

Canada has very clean election campaigns while our neighbors south of the border have long election campaigns with lots of nasty attacks.
I think that Hillary Clinton will be the next American president as Bernie Sanders has no chance to win and the Americans will not choose Trump as their future president. What is your take?. Thanks.

yep,nary any Skulduggery!

Then they failed to brief you about where you are at.
Because no one in M2 politics is impressed.

Well, actually. no.

I can point to several news reports stating how the Republican party, before Obama took office, would "not let him pass anything".

You need to just get used to the fact that the Republican Party in office is nothing but a derelict, racist, lower-class of individuals with money. =)

Obama being elected as President of the U.S. brought the racist core of the House and Senate Republicans out in full force, and there is nothing you can say or show me to prove otherwise.

Go ahead and tell yourself Obama's skin-color didn't mean a thing if it makes you sleep better. You just don't want to believe for a moment that your faithful governmental Republicans could be so evil as to allow a country to fail economically because of deplorable bigotry.

Guess what?

They are. =)

And I find it fascinating that you support them.

Oh, I'm not here to impress any of you. =)

I have absolutely no reason to seek your approval of whatever I type here in these forums. After all, I have a much larger stage.

I'm simply on Mingle2 because I want to meet someone who shares my interests, the same as the bulk of you.

Having fun fencing with you all on political matters is simply frosting on the cake.

Are you telling me to leave? I believe that violates certain terms of service around here, especially about attacks on other users.

Going waaaaaay back to the original official reason for the thread, before the distractions...

I'd bet the reason things are more wildly insane here, is simply due to money.

There are BILLIONS more involved with who wins elections here, so more people attempt to game the system through bribery, manipulation of the news, even to the detail of planting fake "protesters" against themselves, in order to make the opposition look bad.

Canada's level of corruption is directly proportional to the money involved. Nothing to do with how saintly they are.

There ya go....pulled another page out of the liberal playbook....the ol race card. laugh Damn its soooooo easy to recognize.

BTW, in 6th grade, I wrote a report about the girls vs boys kickball game for my elementary school flyer. I guess, technically, I'm a writer too rofl

Now go ahead and play your upside down quote game.

I don't always agree with you Igor, but I enjoy the way you provide logical responses as opposed to emotional attacks

I do agree with this point , money , rather love of money(greed) makes a huge difference
