Do you think dating single moms are a bad or a good idea, and you guys think about dating single mom you could have a long term relationship or only to have a good and short time with them??

I've never had any luck dating single moms, but then again I've never had much luck dating any women.

I am a single Mom and I dont understand why? would you have a short term relashion with one of them, its not a sin to be one, I think that until you get to know why is she alone, maybe youd change your mind and call her a winner.....

I agree most of the women I dated when I was younger where single moms and they have so much on their plates,kids, the bills, jobs, getting everything done, juggling life, it made me admire them.Now that I am older most of their children are grown and are living their own lives.I always thought women with children where more responsible.

For me? Bad idea.

For you? I have no idea, I've never met you.

In general? I'm biased but think single parents represent a net negative especially as they offer no greater positives than those without kids.


Knowingly pursuing short term/pump n dump/immediately gratifying relationships is never worth the effort, IMO.

Average length of sexual intercourse is like 7 minutes.
Most people have better orgasms through masturbation, even though it only releases a fraction of the feel good chemicals as "normal" sexual intercourse. The major difference is the social aspect, the touching, the pheromones, the bodily fluids swapping, the closeness.

I'd rather make the occasional sandwich at home, and then when I go out I eat at nice/fun restaurants, rather than eat at a different fast food place every night.

Short term/time relationships are the fast food of dating, IMO.
And you never know who is going to give you e.coli.

Single moms are just women in a different situation than women without children. You have to have some patience for child related events but that is just part of life. If you are so shallow that any long term relationship is ruled out, you should be honorable enough to stay away.

Years ago I was in Parents Without Partners.. so all the women were single Moms. So to answer the question.. sure, dating them is
fine.. depending on what *you* are looking for..

Just be aware that her and the kids are a package deal in the long term..

Im totally agree with you Maxsterx, sometimes single moms think like that, maybe cause their most important thing in their lives are they kids, you have to be enough patient to assume that, cause almost of all them put more attention in the kids than the relationship, well its a huge responsabilty to afford, cause sometime single moms are not looking real love instead a man who can afford her and their kids, and a man who can take responsabilities that biological father didnt take. Hard to say but that its.
