Haven't got a clue who you really are whisper, but you shouldn't rely on vindication from a bunch of people on the internet :P You seem nice enough from stopping to read your profile though.

Just go look in the mirror and tell yourself you're a good person, and then go out and act the way you would like to see a good person act. There's no trick to it. But you have to have that internalized, you can't basing your opinion about yourself on what other people think of you.

Whisp -- I feel I know you pretty well. And I would have to say you are one of the most caring and generous people I have ever met. I have 10 months of experience and a boxful of stuff to prove it.

There are some things you and I disagree on, and that's OK, because we know how to work around that stuff. Most of the time! The important thing is, over and above whatever happens, we understand each other.

The incident that precipitated this whole discussion was simply a miscommunication. It could be resolved fairly simply if everyone involved would agree to listen to each other....I made a mistake by trying to intervene, and one person completely misunderstood my intent. And I'm sorry for that. But I would do it again, if I thought it might help....

not being mean just telling ya how it is...

The thing is you so called friends feeding her all this crap will not change the state she is in. It is not bad to be told she sucks because she does...she need to take that into consideration and try and be a happier person and not an energy vampire.

She has an excess energy and needs to use it onto something productive,...she will love herself better.

Just because a stranger is being honest don't make me a bad person or that I don't care. She feeds on ya sympathy and never learn anything why her behaviour is repetitive, think about it you so called friends.

If you lot don't see it, maybe you are all blind to everything else in your lives why you are going round and round in circles. Do think....you are all not kids.

...oh and I am not saying she is a bad person, no, she just need to take control of her emotions and be more positive

sin.....sometimes you need to be told things that you want to hear......because you can't take control of your emotions. If I didn't have people telling me that I wasn't a bad person a few months back, I might have done something stupid. Even worse than I did.

People get into such depressions sometimes and they need their friends...whether we are on the computer or next door, to say "you are worth so much more than you will ever realize". And as she said, she posted this for those who really know her and ave seen things happen in her life. You are only here less than a month, so you don't really know her.

Sometimes people have bad days. I hope that when I have one of those, I can come here and have my friends pick me up. To me it just sounds like Mel is having one of those days. It is my pleasure to let her know that she is one of the good guys and hopefully restore some good cheer.

And second of all. Sin, I have full controll over my emotions. Sure i was down, but the reason for me asking the question was not for an ego boost, it was to prove a point to somebody. But still even it was for a boost, does not make any difference. Sometimes somebody needs to hear a kind word once in awhile. Does not make them a bad person or even a person with low self esteem. Just means, they need an upper when they are down. So yes if somebody needs to hear a kind word, then what is the problem with that? Some people rely on medication, while others rely on there friends.

I have to say something here -- in all honesty, Whisper has helped me a LOT with a number of issues -- sometimes the best thing you can do for a friend is just shut up and listen, and she and I have done that for each other many times....

The thing is, she doesn't really talk about everything she does for people, and so I think there are some here -- the ones who just aren't familiar with her -- who won't really understand the kind of person she is. She doesn't "advertise" it. She is just who she is, and who she is, is a fantastic person and a great friend to have in life.

Don't ever try to prove anything to anybody...the only person you have to prove anything to is yourself. BUT it is good to know that you will always have friends here to help pick you up on those bad days.
