I got inspired one night to write this while playing solitaire.

Solitaire Love

Sitting here by candle light
Playing solitaire alone,
With each flip of a card
Wishing you were home.
The Queen of Diamonds is
The richest lady I've known,
The Queen of Hearts reminds me
Of the love, you once shown.

The Ace of Hearts,
Was the core of our love,
Till you ran away with a King
He was the jack of all trades,
But he couldn't give you, but one thing.
Now, when you get dealt an Ace
Full of love, never a deuce or a four,
Don't the deck stack up against you
Not like it did before.

Now I flippe a three of hearts
Reminding me of us three,
When you are with that King instead
When you should be home with me.

You walked in the door crying
As you dropped your leather purse,
I'm glad you are back, I forgive you
Things could've been worse.
The Ace of Spades could've
Been dealt to you my dear,
But it is the love for me
That has brought you here.

Love is like a game of Solitiar we never know what will come up next or if it will be a run or will we be up against the wall with no where to go.

Gives a whole new meaning to the terminology of Texas Hold'em that's for sure
