I'M AFRAID OF BEING AFRAID

Texasrose, I'm the same way, I guess it makes me feel vulnerable.

I'm afraid of scary people on JSH.

Another thing...like noises on my window screen at night...

Silence at night scares me, I need to have the TV on just to hear th voices, so I can sleep.

I, too, am afraid of the closet door open at night .....it has to be closed all the way.....noooooooooo peeking!!!

Empty refrigerators are terribly frightening. Imagine you are reaching in for a new beer/coke/ice cream sandwich and discover THEY ARE ALL GONE! Most times this would not be a problem, but if the reacher is also the consumer then most likely there is no possibility of acquiring more. One would be far too drunk/wired/full to even consider a trip to the store. There may be an irrepressible urge for a nap/distraction/rest long before the store is reached. I'm somewhat nervous just contemplating this awful scenario.
