Topic: #BLM: "Kill Men & White Folks" | |
---|---|
Meh.
Except it wasnt just random "people" who made the tweet. It was the co-founder of a very divisive organization. And, the tweet was only deleted after others retweeted it and used it against the co-founder...then a spokesperson of said divisive organization swept the incident under the rug and tried to turn the focus on some other bull$hit.
People have all sorts of emotions, feelings, thoughts, desires, and ideas pop into their heads. blah blah blah blah If this had been done by a high up member of, say, the NRA, who tweeted something like "God I wanna kill all these black people today",it would be all over the media.....but with BLM, it gets a pass. No matter if she WAS having a bad day....specifying "white folks" shows her for what she really is...a racist, plain and simple. She could have just said "folks" but she didnt...frick her. And frick cowards that give her a pass. blm is not an organization,, its a movement literally, anyone anywhere can hashtag on their computer and be a 'member' no dues, no perks, ,,,,,just an internet trend supporting a political movement Call it whatever makes you feel better...that co-founder is stil a racist frick. I believe everyone is,, some are just more constant, transparent, and proud of it than others specifically, everyone, including the aforementioned is racist its a western condition that people must constantly 'recover' from,, like alcoholism or drug addiction but its always there , somewhere,,, we are too inundated with the images and the words and the history,, to get around it |

its a western condition that people must constantly 'recover' from,, like alcoholism or drug addiction msharmony, the fact that you believe such a thing doesn't make it true. |

first step is admitting it,,,and the toughest one as expected... did it? Because I swore that the word 'everyone' would include the co founder Funny....you have no issue comimg right out and calling someone like Donald Trunp racist...SPECIFICALLY.....Yet you drag your feet and play pattycake here. Not surprised though....it was expected. Carry on with your spin....the floor is all yours...its what you want. |

lol
yes, very good, Trump is part of everyone too, but he has far more flaws than his racism and he is running for president his prideful racism is but one reason I call him out,,, this person is not running for office, I don't know her , she doesn't impact my life, and as far as I know is some random person who posted a one time and random racist thought, which she apparently had enough of a conscience to remove |
|

his prideful racism is but one reason I call him
And yet, you drag your feet when someone else says kill white folks....not folks...WHITE folks.
out,,, I get your quips about Trump...it would just be nice if you would be more on an even keel with your racist judging. "Yea, she shouldnt have tweeted that" wouldve sufficed quite nicely. But no...you first defended BLM....and wouldnt even have addressed the co-founders comments if not pushed to do so. Dont believe me? Your first post in this thread verbatim: "" blm is not an organization,, its a movement literally, anyone anywhere can hashtag on their computer and be a 'member' no dues, no perks, ,,,,,just an internet trend supporting a political movement"" Not one mention of the co-founders remark. And you wouldnt have acknowledged that remark if not for being pushed to do so. Now, you can claim thats not true....Thats when I'll get an umbrella for my hip....'cuz youre not gonna piss down my leg and tell me its rainin' |

it wasn't dragging my feet
the difference I was pointing out is 'recovering racism' which I think all westerners struggle with and doubling down on or being pridefully racist being that I believe all westerners to be at the very least 'recovering' racists,, I don't get upset at every individual incidence of something racist I tend to be more outspoken if it seems to be a trend in an individual or in a system that impacts me and mine and even more in an individual that could possibly impact the policies and laws that are going to govern me levels patterns vs one offs,,, so I didn't have much to say about this one off from some unknown stranger in Canada but I did feel the need to clarify for readers that this strangers singular post was not therefore representative of all of BLM or even most of it,,, |

“This is extremely frustrating and emotional for me because we slept outside for two weeks to get somebody to care about death in our community and this is what you decided to focus on?” she said. “It’s very, very, very irresponsible.”
God give me strength not to cuss/kill the ones who only see darkness, when there is so much bravery and light to be seen in a movement such as BLM. |

A revelation into the ineffectiveness of their preoccupation with seeing everything from the "racial lens". Instead, they should be creating a revolution to constructively address the familial and personal fabric of black peoples lives. The first step in healing always begins by looking in the mirror and addressing the core personal and familial issues which are at the root of any change for the better - and that goes for white, red, yellow and green folks as well. After the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, the debate on race relations in the U.S. has been reignited. What do the #BlackLivesMatter activists really mean, both conservatives and liberals agree that black lives matter as well as #AllLivesMatter!? Are protests (violent or otherwise) the best way to enact change? Where does WA stand on race relations compared to the rest of the country? New York Times bestselling author Ben Shapiro, Seattle/King County NAACP development director Dr. Sheley Secrest, The Stranger's Charles Mudede, and former State Representative candidate and conservative activist Monique Valenzuela Trudnowski.
