There have been more studies that show that when ppl started smoking grass during their teens it does affect things in their body, esp the brain.
It's not as innocent as most think. And quite logical, it is drugs.
It's supposed to be soft drugs, but the Dutch grass is as strong as hard drugs. So of course that's going to affect ppl's brains, esp when they smoke a lot during their teenage years.
And many do smoke an awful lot. I've seen what my stepson and his friends used to smoke in one weekend. Man, that would have frigging killed me! Three puffs of one of their spliffs blew my head off and they smoked the whole danged thing in one go, not a problem. And smoke at least one more a while later. The amounts these kids go through is insane!
What I used to buy when I still smoked, lasted me 2-3 weeks. They'd smoke that in ONE evening!!

Saying that alcohol is worse is nonsense. If you drink a few glasses of wine a week ... nothing wrong with that. If you smoke 1 mild spliff a week, prolly not a real big problem either. It's the quantity. And 1 glass a day is supposed to be healthy for the heart. I've not heard as of yet that smoking 1 spliff a day is healthy for anything ...

Oh, and I think it kills men's erectile functions too. Not when they're still young maybe but you don't stay young forever ...

One day I was walking home from where my truck ran out of gas, and this dude starts hollering at me from across the street. He proceeds to ask me "hey man, where can I get some tree's?" I asked what kind of tree's he was looking for, not having a clue why he was asking me that. He shoots me a sarcastic look and say's "I know YOU know where the tree's are around here." I sternly tell him I don't know what he's talking about and I've got other problems to deal with right now. He realizes I'm for real and tells me tree's means weed.

Difference between C. indica and C. sativa

There are several key differences between Cannabis indica and Cannabis sativa. These include height and stature, internodal length, leaf size and structure, buds size and density, flowering time, odour, smoke and effects.[11] Indica plants tend to grow shorter and bushier than the sativa plants. Indica strains tend to have wide, short leaves with short wide blades, whereas sativa strains have long leaves with thin long blades. The buds of indica strains tend to be wide, dense and bulk, while sativa strains are likely to be long, sausage shaped flowers.[12]

On average, Cannabis indica has higher levels of THC compared to CBD, whereas Cannabis sativa has lower levels of THC to CBD.[5] However, huge variability exists within either species.

A note about the relative CBD to THC ratios mentioned here. These are merely comparative values, we must not interpret that the CBD is higher than THC in a typical strain of indica developed over the last 50 years. The reverse is generally true with a ratio of 20:1 (THC:CBD) being average in most cannabis strains.

In the recent era of cannabis breeding high CBD strains are being developed from Indica origins that will test out as 1:1 or even as high as a 22:1 ratio. The medical interests in Cannabis are taking this further and we will see more strains developed with a reverse CBD:THC ratio. Low anxiety and hallucinogenic properties make these "CBD strains" very desirable for chronic treatment programs.

There are three chemotaxonomic types of Cannabis: one with high levels of THC, one which is more fibrous and has higher levels of CBD, and one that is an intermediate between the two.[5][13]

Cannabis strains with relatively high CBD:THC ratios are less likely to induce anxiety than vice versa. This may be due to CBD's antagonistic effects at the cannabinoid receptors, compared to THC's partial agonist effect.[citation needed] CBD is also a 5-HT1A receptor (serotonin) agonist, which may also contribute to an anxiolytic-content effect.[14] The effects of sativa are well known for its cerebral high. My belief is a different tale. A couple of months after my first traumatic brain injury happened (I was 15) I started smoking. My second tbi was 7 years later & it was a longer time to recover. I am allergic to main meds since 15. In a coma for a month & back to relearning how to walk & talk & think! My mantra will always be with weed on my side. 57 & still walking, dancing & smoking my kind bud
