From the very first day i stepped in the forums i was already decided, i expressed it many many times here and there, and wrote down openly at my profile both in English and turkish. so i know where i am standing, with no question marks for both myself and the other party :) |

You send a friendly, hello type message to someone after reading their profile, and they message you back in a friendly way, so you send a couple more, then .............  nothing, all contact stops.
So you just presume that they are busy, or haven't been online etc, then after a week you see that they have been online all that time, sometimes they post on the forums etc. My questions then, are to the recipient, have you ever just decided not to carry on talking with someone and if you have, for what reason did you just stop talking to them and did you not think it polite to at least send them a message saying why? And to the sender, would you or have you ever sent them a message back asking why they stopped contact, and would you try to re-ignite the conversation, or would you just accept that either: The other person just didn't want to talk to you in the first place They decided you weren't worth their time. They got bored of you. They don't have very good communication skills, or are they just plain ignorant. Right, all yours 
You hit pretty much the story of my online experiences!! I can seem to revolt and scare them away within minutes I have learned to just move on and not worry about why they were rude enough to just blow me off. Because in all honesty chances they are never going to reply and it most likely won't be the truth. Although it get disheartening and infuriating when it happens, better to shrug it off and move on to the next chance!! |

If you are like me and value some privacy and alone time...you would choose the maximum one hour away kinda relationship.... |
