just wanna see wut you guys think. I think looks are really important to everyone. Without some standards you would date anything that comes your way which isn't always good. I think you have to be happy with the person you're dating not just doing it because you're that desperate for someone.

Looks matter to some degree because attraction matters to have that spark in the relationship...

Looks help, but chemistry as well as compatibility are just as impotant.

i think that looks are important but so does the chemistry that you have with that person. i dont base dating a guy only on looks, he has to have personality, honest and of course be able to make me laugh.

That's true too, I've known some really cute women who turned out to look really ugly to me cause of their personality or actually their lack of one.

Hey Guy -- Looks matter to some degree, but attractive means different things to different people. My girlfriends and I never have the same taste in men. I like bikers -- they don't; I like long hair sometimes -- they don't. Someone could be the most beautiful woman or drop dead gorgous man -- but if they don't have anything else to offer except looks than the attraction is just superficial. For me attraction means a whole lot of qualities.

I think they matter to an extent - but personality really matters more. A good personality really shines through, and even the best looking people with bad attitudes quickly get tiring to be around, no matter how good they look. It's always a factor though, it's just a matter of degrees.
