maybe so cloudy..maybe so..i am watching football myself....naruto shippuuden is on hiatus until some time in january..but i guess i may catch up on bleach here in a little while. i am wayyyyyy behind...still not at the end of the whole bount arc.

I wouldn't exactly consider myself an otaku, but I enjoy anime, nonetheless. I'm using some of my Christmas loot to buy a few series. Giant Robo is a definite pick. Beyond that, I'm debating between Fushigi Yugi (The Mysterious Play) and Bubblegum Crisis. Any recommendations?

Becca You may just wanna skip that whole arc, the filler arc was epic levels of bad. The Manga has really started picking up as of late though, it's worth keeping up on that. |

cloudy, i see your wildcats pulled off a win against florida state...auburn is playing clemson right now..they aren't doing too good. anyways i guess i am about through with the bount stuff then because i am on episode 80 something. and you're right, the mod souls are adorable :)

I agree. I liked Eva...though I admit I don't like the end very much....I've only seen the Death part of the movie though (Death and Rebirth) Hrmmm...guess I should watch Rebirth someday

I tried to get into Eva, but after about 10 ep it got really philisophical and I couldn't keep up much after that, but the action scenes rocked!

So, I've seen maybe 2 episodes of Eureka 7. Anyone have any opinions? Every time I watch it, or semi watch it, all I can think is Eva o.O Is that weird?

Evangelion is a very influential anime, so there isn't any surprise that other shows are reminiscent of it. I've never seen Eureka 7, but we watched Dual in the anime club when I was in college. The similarities there bordered on parody. I used to shout during the opening credits, "You'd have to be insane to see any resemblance whatsoever between the show you are about to see and Neon Genesis Evangelion."
