You'll end up disillusioned, disappointed and frustrated.

I don't.
I measure ME by my standards.

Others I measure by how they meet their own standards,
naught to do with me at all.

Don't measure others by your own standard...You'll end up disillusioned, disappointed and frustrated.

Seems most to a lot of people end up that way no matter what.

Measure others by some sort of authoritative standard - you get "bad boys," and "when did it become okay to not respond to messages?!?!"

Measure others by their own standard - you are seen as lacking your own, distanced, uncaring.

Measure others by your own standard - you are seen as judgmental.

Don't measure others at all - you get taken advantage of.

No matter what you do you will end up disillusioned, disappointed, and/or frustrated with people.

No one ever said or guaranteed you weren't supposed to end up disillusioned, disappointed, and/or frustrated with people except politicians that want you to vote for them in order to get free stuff from them so they can work on providing you your stress free utopia as long as you keep them in power.

Disillusion, disappointment, frustration, are simply stressors.

Measure people however you want.
Or don't.

Doesn't really matter.

Only how you handle the stress that causes you.

Too much stress ends up affecting your behavior which you ultimately take out on other people or yourself in deleterious ways.
