For someone that was supposed to be Jewish he didn't half criticise them a lot. And no one knows who his father was. He might have been German for all we know. He's got blond hair and blue eyes in all the pictures.

I thought colour pictures were a fairly recent development.

Surely JC was just what the likes of David Blaine, Dynamo, Harry Houdini etc are today. I doubt if too many people will be talking about David Blaine, Dynamo, Harry Houdini in 2000 years time.So there's one difference. |

Luke 1:30 - And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. Matthew 1:18 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Jesus wasn't "criticizing" anyone. He was here to fulfill the first covenant's final prophecies and to give us a new covenant signed in his blood. |

Theres no difference because we see them as Magicians and they saw Jesus as soon special being which is why 400 years after his death they wrote the Bible. We not insanely stupid enough to go around writing bibles about David Blaine to illude the future generations of 2000 years ago about how some famous dude that could levitate one millimeter off the ground. |

Ok well yes, I retract part of my original statement. He did call the pharisees hypocrites, guess you can call that criticizing. But it was more of a judgement on them. Giving a judgement and an opinion are two different things, and criticizing is an opinion. Jesus didn't give his "opinion", he gave his law and judgement. Calling a blue flower blue isn't criticizing the flower. |

The pharisees were the jewish nobility weren't they? And jesus slagged em off every where he went. He ruffled a few feathers doing that I bet. And he went after the jewish merchant class as well, beating them with sticks. They were just going about their business the way moses would have wanted them to. Then along comes this jesus fella, acting all high and mighty and having a go at every one. I'm not surprised they strung him up. No one likes a know it all.
