A big age difference between a man and a woman in relationship; it doesn't work for longtime. (Ex: man 50;woman 20// man 25; woman 55).
..but love can do miracles.

your comments please

PS// old man or old madame; it's a very different situation

after she convinced me that age is just a number, I'm in my 50th & she is in her late 20th, we met in coffee shop, asked me about my type of music, I said loves old country, like Kenny Rogers, she asked me who is Kenny Rogers?? I kissed her hand and wished her happy life frustrated

I don't really care if a guy likes the same music as me. That's such a little thing. If a guy is 25 and knows he wants to have children? I'm not going there.

.but love can do miracles

IMO no it can't.
I think people attribute it to "love" because it just makes things easy.

Just as important to keeping people together far longer than it takes to raise a kid past 4-7 is insecurity, desire, hope, happiness, fear, joy, hatred, momentum, and all the complexities, emotional and life situation, that constantly influence a person in their daily decisions.

Love can't do miracles. It's not a magic angel sitting on your shoulder rewarding you for righteous behavior.
People are complex.
But lazy and want to come up with easy answers.
So they say things like "love can do miracles!" rather than actually think.

Maybe.
Depends on what's driving the people.
And old guy can go with young girl for the sake of wanting kids.
An old guy can go with young girl for the sake of wanting a "trophy."
An old guy can go with a young girl for the sake of wanting a youthful extension of themselves, thereby youthenizing (hahaha) themselves.

Older women can do the same thing for the same reasons.

It can be a different situation, or it can be the same situation.

No matter what situation you have, there is always someone else in the same situation, somewhere.

I knew a 20 y/o girl who were in love with a 55 y/o man ... and .....
it didn't work for sure .
love limits should be set to ±2 years

A big age difference doesn't really matter when two people are truly in love with each other. Love is such a very powerful thing which will make a relationship work not the age, it is just but a number. But be wary for some people it could not be real love , depends on the intentions of every individual......Others may enter in such relationship with selfish personal motives.

its all about communication, if there are from different generation , usually nothing to talk about ... my opinion

So we are back to this question again eh? Well, I follow a formula of if she is cute, funny, great hygiene, nice breasts and butt.....no matter the age....I'll check her out.

its strictly cultural

some cultures are very strongly regulated by age, in terms of roles ,responsibilities, and expectations

others are more averse to 'roles' of any type,, like ours is becoming

so that 'expectations' based upon age are frowned upon in general and we therefore find some younger people that are as or more maure than some older ones

and I really believe its a match in emotional maturity that predicts success, if the two people happen to have attained the same level of emotional maturity,, at whatever individual age that is, it has a good chance to work
