Well just had to see what advise I could pull from this crowd. My delema is not the fact I can't seem to find a girl....alot of it is the fact I envolve myself with the type that tends to bring alot of drama to the table. I have always been the type to settle down and be with one great girl but deal with nothing but the type that can't seem to hold onto somekind of sanity around me. SO HOW DO I SPOT THIS STUFF EARLIER...?

My advice is you need to get to know them more the way they act, etc. before getting involved. If they have drama you should know it already before settling down.

Yeah usually the way I handle things....take it slow and get to know eachother. Problem is alot of the time I get to the point of settling down and see a different side to them....guess need to take things even slower....

lol joyce is right there, but what kind of drama are you talking about?
like SERIOUS drama? ie: DOOO YOOOUU LOOOOVE MEEEE?? 24/7 375?
or MORE SERIOUS: watching you whilst you sleep indifferent

Bingo RonRon. great advice

I'm notorious for attracting the same thing.....
I understand completely and haven't an answer.
But I will say, I am staying "just friends" for a very long time now. People and situations sometimes take a loooooong time to fully bloom or unfold. Good luck and welcome aboard

Ask them questions that you want to know to determine if they are compatible right away... cut straight to the chase... be nice though. I tell ya, it weeds out the dandelions from the roses real fast!! Good luck!!drinker

Just realize, everyone has drama...it is called life.
If someone says they don't have drama...it's a lie.
It's called LIFE
With age, comes more LIFE experiences and issues.

It's the person as a whole, do they wear it and not deal with it and cry about it? or do they try to figure things out and move forward...

Keep trying for the ones that move forward...remember, you can not ever go back...20/20 is hindsite....move forward.

Take the guidance from a counselor...look for the ones that move forward and share the problem solving they have done from their past.

Oh in the last experience "DRAMA" was so bad almost had to sleep with one eye open....really crazy one....broke it off but she didn't realize I was gone for months and stalked me everywhere....would show up at places I didn't even know I was going to be at but yet there she would be right behind me. Luckily she gave that up and can have some peace again.

Get to know them before you meet them... I try to email and chat with them for some time before I attempt to meet.. Its hard to know cuz even when you chat with them for hours or days or weeks or whatever.. when you do meet.. they can still be totally different.

Good Luck...

it is hard-- even people you meet in person can change once they have that relationship.
everyone has some form of drama, it is how you handle it that matters.
i can not give any advice- i seem o end up with the wrong type of guys.

Drama are always present...the problem with you men, visual cloud your eye to see right through a person. Pay more attention when they/she talks and listen to your inner self to save you from wasting your time with the individual(s)...but then all you are experiencing, it is part of the lessons you are meant to learn. It's time consuming but you benefit from it in the long run

it is men as well as woman with drama issues. we are always at our best when we first start dating. i mean there are a few who act like them selves no matter what. but i would say the rest take a while to show their true selves. i geuss its up to how much time you want to invest to get to know that persons real temperment. who knows that person of drama may have some unfinished issues and the drama may end when the issues fade away. its all a chance thing, hang in there you 'll find the one.

Thx Gams, been there also and some of my friends have.

You know u can still be compatible and have drama.

Wow Steve she sounded like Jekyll and Hyde.

The dating thing is alittle scary because you never know
what kind of person they end up being. People tend to say things online and when you meet them in person they are so different. I think everyone needs to be real.

I think I'm gonna start carrying a can of Whoop Ass!...LMAO

I suggest having all applicants complete a lengthy psychological evaluation, submit current Cat scan reports, and be held for 24 hour observation.happy
