in the topic it was said 'wouldn't it be great?' then in the message part it said 'to view those that read your poems'.

put those together and what do you get?

Yes wouldn't it be nice if you could see who has viewed your poems, like when you see, who has viewed you.....get it now

Forget it just wanted some company, never get why no-one, ever wants to just chat with me, no matter how many post, I try.....going to my other site, at least they open up to me, maybe be back later.

Hi, Noden. You can se how many people viewed your poems, but the names. On the main forum screen, lick on the thread for Poems, then the post, there you will see how many have looked at them and how many have posted to them. Hope this helps, if they post, to your poem post, then you will see the name of the last poster.

Yeah it would but to be honest it makes me feel good just to know that others have looked and read makes me all warm inside sweet

I guess for me I write for me....and if someone else enjoys them well thats great......And usually if they do I hear from them....giggle.

I think they are just numbers, some are not really reading it, just click and move on. Maybe you need to add flowers, drinks, put out some cookies, cakes.....lol so they stop long enough to read ya poems lol

Check allpoetry, submit your poems for some feedback ...they have competitions and challenges there too. You have to comment on others poems and build a network but once in you will learn new things. I am not activie there but I think I am still a member. Format is not too bad.

The owner Kevin (well he was when he started the site) is a young programmer, he writes great poetry too and very inspiring. I was one of the early moderators there when it first started many moons ago. Now it is growing so big. I think the current Mods runs the site.

What I love about it, learning new forms of poetry writing.

If you want someone to give you a constructive critique, look it up and post your poems there. Look up "Stories" too but since this site grew they added restrictions to daily submissions unless you are a paid member.

I am still a novice poet, and have submitted my poems there and got heaps of good feedback, that helped me to keep trying ...when I left the site, I took them off. I just need to write new stuff.

Thank you for the in-depth information, that I was looking for, yes indeed, this sounds like a good place to start, some sites are not easy to work around, and the critics, have not posted more than 6 or so themselves, I need someone whom knows how, I have checked Shakespear's love the tis, thee, thou, nouns.

Something to this affect, of course the style of being very discriptive comes to play often, I love the play of words as well, as putting them into a picture, I want people to see what I am saying, I guess as a narrater, would.

Noden, I would like to see something like this for ANY post, actually. Not sure how feasible it would be in terms of programming or server space or any of that, but it sure would be nice if I could see who's been reading my stuff.

I don't post a lot of poems -- I tell people "I took to poetry like a moose takes to a flight simulator" -- but I post enough other things,and get enough feedback, that I'm sometimes curious about who (and where) the people are who are reading but not telling....!!

As for the programing and server, I think, it would be the generating of the loading process, of many pages of comments, of which I am also not familar with.

But as human, as we are, many besides me, have the couriosity of a cat, its just who we are, it seems that when you see the post has been viewed by so x-many amount of people, by the x-amount of comments you'd like to see whom they where, maybe create more interactions with non-posting ppl. in a area of interests....
