All online dating sites allow you to do is not have to leave the house.
The universe doesn't create magic people that live inside the internet whose only purpose is to find love.
The same people online are wandering around out there.

In reality, you should avoid the ones online "looking for love" like the plague. The ones that idealize it, that only have love on their mind when they come here and thereby treat online dating as the "love" store.

They tend to put off their life for the fantasy, and as soon as it threatens to get "real" they either disappear, or they start turning into completely different people as their "real" life starts taking the precedence it had before, as their "love" avatar/persona has to accommodate reality.
