Protesters are planning an anti-Beyoncé rally outside NFL HQ Alfred Ng NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Updated: 02/10/2016 8:39 AM ET http://m.nydailynews.com/news/national/protesters-planning-anti-beyonce-rally-nfl-hq-article-1.2525945/ * Pics , many embedded links & short video * Beyoncé haters are ready to get in formation. The anti-Beyhive is planning to protest the "Drunk in Love" singer outside of the NFL Headquarters in Manhattan on Feb. 16, the same day tickets for her “Formation” world tour goes on sale. The “Run the World” artist faced criticism from politicians including former Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Rep. Peter King (R-Long Island) for being “anti-police" following her halftime performance at Sunday's Super Bowl. KING: BEYONCÉ'S THOUGHTS MATTER, DESPITE WHAT POLS SAY [The anti-Beyhive is planning a rally on Feb. 16 after Beyoncé's Super Bowl 50 performance, which they say had ties to the Black Panthers and Black Lives Matter] “Are you offended as an American that Beyonce pulled her race-baiting stunt at the Superbowl?” the event description said. “Do you agree that it was a slap in the face to law enforcement?” The rally’s organizer is calling Beyoncé’s show “hate speech” and “racism” at the Super Bowl because of its references to the Black Panthers and Black Lives Matter. STASI: SUPER BOWL IS NO PLACE FOR BLACK PANTHERS [The protest is scheduled for Feb. 16 outside the NFL Headquarters, the same day Beyoncé's "Formation" World Tour tickets go on sale.] The protest is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. outside the NFL’s headquarters on Park Ave. on Feb. 16. The Bey-hater writes, “Be peaceful and respect the boundaries of private property” as a note for the protest. The organizer behind the event remains unnamed, but there is a contact form at the bottom of the EventBrite page. He or she did not respond to a Daily News request for comment. Former Mayor Giuliani slammed the show on Monday, calling the routine “outrageous” for inserting politics into the NFL. “This is football, not Hollywood, and I thought it was really outrageous that she used it as a platform to attack police officers who are the people who protect her and protect us, and keep us alive,” he said. ang@nydailynews.com Tags: beyonce , nfl , super bowl , racial injustice , rudy giuliani , midtown |

Beyoncé supporters plan counter-protest to BoycottBeyonce demons - Fox 28:
Beyoncé supporters plan counter-protest to BoycottBeyonce demonstration Posted: Feb 10, 2016 1:12 PM EST By CNN Beyoncé supporters and opponents will hold competing rallies later this month. The hashtag, "#BoycottBeyoncé," has gathered steam, following the super bowl halftime show. Many supporters of that movement say the singer's new song "formation" is "anti-cop." A posting on Event-Brite even called her performance a "race-baiting stunt." The posting calls people to gather for a protest at the NFL's headquarters in New York City on February 16. That, of course, has sparked calls for Beyoncé supporters to hold a counter-protest. FOX28 |

Ill be honest...I actually watched that $hit show of a Superbowl halftime show....and it being a $hit show didnt have anything to do with Beyonces "message".
For a 50th Superbowl halftime show, it sucked big ol donkey balls....Coldplay? A rehashed Bruno Mars halftime performance from 2 years ago? Come the frick on I would not have been able to get offended by Beyonce....because the audio was HORRIBLE and I couldnt understand a word she was singing, or, probably lip syncng. Of course, she almost fell so that was funny....best part of that halftime show....I guess she was trying to do a Cam Newton impression, sans Von Miller amd Demarcus Ware running her down ALL night. On a side note, and I cant believe Im saying this...but Lady Gaga did a damn fine job on the National Anthem |

FERGUSON EFFECT: Police Getting Guns Pulled On Them In Record Numbers
By Robert Gehl http://www.thefederalistpapers.org/us/ferguson-effect-police-getting-guns-pulled-on-them-in-record-numbers/ south carolina crime In South Carolina, officer-involved shootings have skyrocketed since Barack Obama took office. In 2009, there were 27 shootings by law enforcement in the state. Last year, there were 48 cases. In addition, more people are pulling guns on the police compared to the past and the number of police injured in the line of duty is up 50 percent, The State is reporting. It’s an alarming trend, led by the disdain and disgust for law enforcement proselytized by liberal groups like Black Lives Matter, who demonize and vilify our law enforcement. With 48 officer-involved shootings, 2015 marked the highest number in South Carolina since the State Law Enforcement Division began keeping track in 1999. That’s because more people are pulling guns on police officers, who had to defend themselves, law enforcement officials say. In 26 of the 48 instances, suspects pulled guns on officers. That’s up almost 45 percent from 18 instances in 2014, according to SLED numbers. South Carolina’s crime rate is mirroring a national trend in America’s big cities. Anti-cop rallies and protests both empower thugs to commit more crimes and engage in more confrontations with police; while police are hemmed in by a fear of being accused of racism if they draw their weapon in self defense against a black person. They’ll end up as the next “bad cop” on some YouTube video. It’s called the “Ferguson effect” – an empowered criminal element who are emboldened by increased assaults on police officers. “In today’s YouTube world, are officers reluctant to get out of their cars and do the work that controls violent crime? Are officers answering 911 calls but avoiding the informal contact that keeps bad guys from standing around, especially with guns?” FBI Director James Comey asked. “I don’t know whether this explains it entirely, but I do have a strong sense that some part of the explanation is a chill wind blowing through American law enforcement over the last year. And that wind is surely changing behavior.” South Carolina is only a harbinger of things to come unless we get a grip on these “Black Lives Matter” social justice warriors. what? black people carry guns? why don't they learn from their law abiding co citizens?
ferguson happened in august of 2014 by the way,,, officer shootings were at 43 in 2013 long before,,,,, so,,there is no ferguson affect exactly, since these trends were climbing before august of 2014 not due to 'black lives matter' , but I guess its as good a fear tactic to disband activism as any other |

Oh you made me laugh... |

http://m.nydailynews.com/new-york/nypd-detectives-union-head-blasts-beyonce-super-bowl-article-1.2531568/
The head of a city police union thinks Beyoncé should turn her attention to black-on-black crime. “She should direct her message where it’s needed most, and that’s in the ’hood, because that’s where it all takes place,” Michael Palladino, president of the Detectives’ Endowment Association, said Sunday on John Catsimatidis’ radio show, “The Cats Roundtable.” Palladino slammed the superstar’s Super Bowl halftime show’s support for the Black Lives Matter movement, calling the message “misdirected.” “So if the Black Lives Matter movement really wants to make a difference, they should pour the medicine directly on the wound,” he said. “Get into the ghetto, the ’hood. Get to the bottom of why people of color prey on other people of color in their own neighborhoods.” Palladino said he wasn’t a fan of the performance, which also featured dancers in Black Panthers outfits. |

I'm no fan of those who ASSume from media snippets that one thing someone addresses is the only thing they have ever addressed
criminals kill people , no one pays them its not their job police are supposed to protect, they are paid to, its their job the continued comparison that one should be resolved before the other is addressed continues to baffle me |
|
|
|
Of course it does. Calling something what it truly is, & getting to the root of the problem scares people.
It is much easier to play the shame & blame game or play the race card & hope if you scream loud enough some Dem will give out free band-aids & try to force the lawbiding to kiss the a*** of people who refuse to change themselves. Yep..that's it. |
