is this an opinion poll?

yes
no

depends ohwell

I am only assuming, that any questions asked on this open forum, will be answered, by giving your opinion. Yes or No, in this case Maybe, are perfectly acceptable answers. No need for in-depth analysis unless you want to put your post-grad studies in physcology to good use...all I am saying...
hahahaha....ooooooh it's like ya know me grumble

for some couples where one or both are from fairly religious families
waiting until after marriage may be the 'norm'

for some...they might have waited on their first marriage
but feel it is no longer necessary on the second or subsequent marriages

for many..they wait until they are in a committed relationship ..

and for some..they hop into bed anytime they are given the thumbs up sign

lol...wish I had in my first life time...

...and there are guys like me who wait for the two thumbs up...and still hesitate.....yep, getting quite used to finishing last....in more ways than one...ha ha..

Is it necessary to sleep with a person before deciding to get married to said person?

My parents didn't and they've been married for 57 years.

Best answer yet...Definitely do not need to have sex before marriage to have wonderful marriage

People from that generation often stay(ed) in marriage by default as they didn't/don't think it's right to get a divorce. Not even when things are bad.

My parents and grandparents didn't stay in marriage by default. They like(d) each other. They love(d) each other. They are best friends.

I used to see my grandparents walk down the street - older and holding hands. I saw the way they looked at each other. No default there. My parents are the same way. My parents aren't against divorce. They choose to be married.

Actually, I just bought a Mazda3 by looking at the color, first, and then the year, second, it being a sedan won my pocket book over...picked it up from the showroom three days later...all registered and stickered. I drove it home and that was like driving it for the first time. Hey, I had a Mazda Protege before that...go figure...all I am sayin...

No.

*To some people it may be a really big deal. To me it is not a big deal.

* If we were a perfect match sure I would marry them in a flash why not is what I would be thinking.

flowerforyou Clearly some people are very messed-up if they turn-down a super hot mate because of a sleep habit. Come-on who cares how they sleep!!!! We are all adults, if the sex is fantastic and fun. Sleep is the last thing I would care about. Gees, I would be ordering in pizza for days.

No, it not necessary to sleep with a person before marriage. slaphead

Look, I wouldn't married anybody unless we could be happy in all aspects of a relationship. Anyone who thinks you should just pop off and get married is taking a big chance. If one person is not so much into the physical and the other one is,,,,, it eventually will lead to infidelity. Soooooo, with that said, using the automobile analogy. . Test drive the wheels off that thang. Take it thru the forrest. Bang it thru the desert. Cruise it thru the river. Haul @$$ thru the freeway and 4x4 it thru the bolders!!!!!! drool

Why am I outta breath??? Well that's my look on it. Just take the time to fall in love with the person so you can meet each other's needs. flowerforyou

I'd respect the hell out of a girl who made me wait ....but I've never been married , nor met a girl who was interested in waiting ..but yeah I don't see anything wrong with it.
