I had a good one today. Read her profile. She described me perfectly in her profile as what she's looking for. I messaged her. She checked my profile and messaged me back saying that she was neurotic, insecure, and a certified nutcase with paperwork to prove it with tons of physical and emotional baggage which I said I'm NOT looking for. Lower my standards so I can have my life ruined and my property destroyed. I don't think so.

Roadie_512 - she moved on, from the last time i saw her and she told them to get stuff. To me these guys judged her by her physical looks and not all her other bits too.

I think we all tend to do that when we are looking at someone's pics. It's a natural attraction and for some, that is where that ends, especially men! bigsmile But, if one took the time to understand the person better, they learn more about them.

My second last boyfriend of 18months laugh, was a drunk yet he was wonderful to me. He loves his alcohol and would often have a couple before bed everynight and by Friday he would be drunk till Sunday most of the time. Thats a real turnoff to me as time went by. No matter how loving and romantic he was to me in that time, I couldn't settle for less. I left him. Whos fault was that in the first place, mine, he was a drunk when I met him, I stayed because he was loving towards me, I guess not enough for me. Am I shallow or wise...I have my reasons behind the alcohol issue

sin39-

Love alone is not enough for a healthy and lasting relationship. Every addict and murder still has love. I believe in compatibility as an important factor. I also agree with you on the superficiality in people's perception. Being drunk or high on drugs is being detached, therefore, it is never a good quality for a relationship, because one person is off somewhere while other is left in the relationship. These people only "love" you at their convenience - selfish. People shouldn't need external stimulants to be happy with their partner.
