My original profile was brilliant...
It is now a mere shadow of its former self.... Seriously though, I came here to find my match.... So a clever, humorous and heartfelt profile was a must.... I also created a challenge for the women that read it.... Sadly 95% weren't up to it.... Interestingly 4% made a great effort in their creative replies.... Happily there was this 1%er.... Guys....make an effort, its worth it.... |

All I can say is...people do their profiles, for what works for them. If viewers have a problem with it, then get the hell off their profile. As it obviously isn't something that is appealing to the reader. I will add, that it's also inappropriate to message people about their profile about something you as the reader didn't like. Don't like my picture, just move on, no need for comment. got a message ( not here) wanting to know why all my pics are head shot only when I told him I have no desire to step up on that wet t-shirt of a stage to be clumped in with all the other middle aged women oooozing desperation just to get attention due to size of titz/azz and nothing to do with my personality, my intelligence or my value system and who I am as a person.. I dunno man he never got back to me I don't think they want to see your titz/azz per say, although they likely wouldn't object It is recommended to have at least one full body picture, and fair enough if a man wants to see what you look like. There's people who appear to be 'normal built' when you see their faces. Then when you see the rest, they're huge. If a man doesn't have a full body picture, I'm not keen on it either. I once ended up with a meet and greet with a guy in a wheelchair! He'd only showed me pictures of his face He was a real good looking bloke, sexy as hell. But I don't want a partner in a wheelchair. And although I understand his problem in finding a date, it's not fair nor respectful to do that to someone else. . . . perhaps one day I will put one back on think I just got really fed up with the comments |

. . yes you make a valid point and at one time I did have two pics on here one of the front and one from back perhaps one day I will put one back on think I just got really fed up with the comments I have to say. I have been really lucky so far at mingles. No one has made any inappropriate comments about my photos. Granted I havent been here that long but it would be great if the level of respect continues |

To me that's pushing it. I ain't going to do that. If they want to see my back & bum, they'll just have to date me. Front side, fair enough, but no way am I going to make a shot from back & my azz. That would make me feel like a piece of meat. |

Boring profiles are a reflection of boring people.

I guess none of us are really educated when it comes to profile texts. Maybe the expectations, perception and 'demands' of what is considered to be an appealing profile varies per age group too? Maybe. |

Boring profiles are a reflection of boring people. Do you think that maybe the person could be animated when speaking but lacking in writing skills, so that the liveliness doesn't translate on paper? |

No way! Sorry Ms.P; these individuals are just dim, boring, lazy, or all of the aforementioned! lol! There's such an incredible abundance of online resources to aid the most incompetent writer that this excuse/reason is nonexistent. Heck, I've even seen templates where the individual is required to just plug-in a few words & his/her profile is automatically generated by the software! |

Makes sense but realistically if I was a guy, I wouldn't bother myself with profile writing seminars on line .... especially if I just joined the sight to get laid |

Just a simplistic template[fill-in-the-blanks] kind of "instant profile for idiots";} However, if I wanted a quick shag & was too cheap to pay for it, if I were really married or involved in another relationship, or if I was a total scammer; guess I wouldn't fill-out anything either... |

You mean we are supposed to create a profile for .. ourselves... WOW .. that's what I'm doing wrong.... why didn't I get this memo?.. can i say more in my profile then just.... I will tell you later.?.. Wink eh! for a long time I have thought that a rewrite was needed. I just keep adding stuff. I would never read all of it at one go! I expppect (food on the kry), better now. ummmm I expect a person to read a bit, get bored and send a note. Days (week) later I respond and so they will read a bit more again. So, what I'm reading is "throwing mud on the wall" will not make it shine. Maybe I just know the product to well? haha! The trip can be the most fun! I love telling a select few friends I'm on Mingle2, "golden" I do hope no one read this far. Sorry about that.I will edit this page tomorrow ok!... * I guess |

Some years ago I joined Mingle2/ M2
Looked at the list and contacted the person and yakked a bit. Got her e-mail and quit the site. Job done. Her mingle2 name was TariqFarooqMohammed Looked like a nice person and to this day we still e-mail and yak and Yes she now yakks on here with me. haha I just think some (very few) are just enjoying the candy view. Sure, have fun! But many walk into the store, get what they want and leave. Fast & easy. The Forum is Mingle2's strong advantage. Everyday my head hurt's. haha! Great views |

If your only looking for one person, you would pay a writer. ok I just learned on M2 Forums that some people do not say Hi to strangers?? Today I asked our store cashier if she could soca as I'm still real bad. She went and asked in the break-room. Then came back and said the one that does is off. (The line was getting long behind me). So 12 to 15 more people now know me hahaha! |

To night I read my profile for the first time! I thought it was a lot worst.
But maybe I'm mislead by the nice photo haha! It still needs to be focused and when I get to that point, will I be online. Maybe it needs 'a today line". |
