So ive been reading about alot of people who have long distance realtionships from here... is it seriously that hard to find someone in the same state? or are there not enough singles joined from your area?

Probably not enough, but I don't date people in my town I date around the area like 20-40 minutes away. Sometimes even an hour away.

I'm sure there are a boatload of truly wonderful women in Rochester. I haven't met any of them - apart from a few who I developed as friends because we didn't have enough in common to base anything serious off of. Most of the women I've met in the Roc aren't worth the time. Like I said, the good ones are out there - I just can't find them. I'd rather take a chance on someone I do get along with well, regardless of her location, than take one of the all too common b!tchy, anorexic princesses I see on a daily basis.

Yea long distance is tough. I was dating someone and moved away 6 months into it. We lived 2 hours a way and did the long distance for about a year and a half. Realized we aren't right for each other but we still hang out as friends and talk a few times a week.

:)
seems like alot of relationships end up as friendships if distance is a problem... but you know, some girls and guys find that to be hurtful... I mean with the whole... I spend this much time with my ex. Or my ex is calling me because.

It happened to me once, and I never saw the other person as their friend just their ex.

Well I haven't dated since we broke up and that was like a year ago. Basically I am about to graduate and I am planning to move so I don't want to get too attached to anyone and limit my career before it begins.

Im interested in alot of different fields. Im just trying to pin one down at the moment. The most likely one will be web design since Ive already dipped in my toes.
And I want to be a preschool teacher so we'll see.
