“Broken”

Words were spoken.
Hearts were broken.
Was it just a token?
Will it be?
That you will see.
Heart was given free.
Love was a delight.
Use to ignite.
Now accepts the night.
What once was new.
At one time innocent and true.
It’s broken and blue.
No longer dare.
Or try to compare.
It will only bring fear.
Leave one in despair.
Heart wanted to give.
It tried to forgive.
Now it’s only able to survive.
Once stood in the light.
Once wanted to invite.
Now welcomes the night.
Once had trust.
It was a must.
Now it’s filled with disgust.
No reason to believe.
It will only deceive.
Then make you grieve.
Is this the way.
They leave one in dismay.
Then turn and walk away.

I think you lost your way

You my sweet are far from broken, I fervently hope that the character of which you speak isn't you. The Kristi I have got to know and love has more gumption that a team of 10 weight lifters put together. Your words once again shines through, A very good piece

Marj awwww thank you girl, heheh ya your right on that one no it is not I that I speak of maybe at one time in the past. But not as of the right now. But even when one thinks of the past you still rememeber how it felt.
