i wouldnt wait 5 years for someone -- if i was already with someone and something happened, that might change things... but if i just met someone and had to wait 5 years... no way, wouldnt happen.

Well, depending on how deep our relationship was, and if he was doing something productive to better himself as a person and our relationship, I may try to wait, (I use the word try because you never know what bridge you may be crossing, people tend to have different views in life depending on the stage you're in..) However, if it was to wait because he's in jail....F&ck NO!!!!

It depends on the whole situation. How many times has he been in jail? What did he do to get in jail? How old is he? Were they in a relationship before he went to jail? I mean seriously there are so many questions that needs to be answered before you can seriously answer that. All I know is that everyone can make a mistake...BUT is this the first time he has ever been in jail? Did he go to jail for something major or is it something stupid? When he went to jail, were they together or did she meet him from a friend when he was already locked up?? Give some more details please!!
