A lady? Profile said so. Contacted via the IM here. It didn't work so, we went to another IM. She and I talked for a minute and she asked if I had other pics. I told her the ones I had were on the profile. She said she hadn't looked.
I went to photo share and loaded some pics. All my photos are "G" rated.As soon as they were were she could view them, she quit talking. I thought, at first, the IM had frozen again.
While I was waiting, I clicked on 1 pic I didn't care for to remove it and was asked by the program if I really wanted to delete because the photo was being downloaded.
I thought, why would she want to download pics of someone she didn't know and I asked. No responce. By the time I realized she wasn't going to respond, all the pics were downloaded and she signed off.
I sent an email and asked her what had happened and what was it all about. Got no further response.
Has this sort of thing happened to anyone else?

she might be trying to scam u. and don't let people see ur pics until u two know one another. im chat with justsayhi.com has no problems so whatever. so keep it up.

when you open attachment it ask to open or save to comp.Maybe she hit the wrong button.They are pretty close together.

I can't think of a single reason why someone would do this... If you manage to find ot the WHY, I know it is rather nosy on my part, but I'd love to know the answer myself.

She signed back on a while later and I tried to IM her and she wouldn't respond.

hackers can hack in while your files are transfering.port 80 opens up when you accept the file..never accept a file from a stranger on msn..

For all you know, she could be in West Africa, and she could me a MAN, since that is common these days with the relationship scams coming out of Nigeria. If there was a long delay when you were chatting, or she was using the buzzer a lot, chances are she is overseas! I don't think reporting it to yahoo will help much. You can delete her from your chat list and you can ignore her, but that resets itself every so often and you have to ignore them again.
It would seem common courtesy not to download someone's pics unles you ask their permission first, but some people don't have common courtesy. Another way to do that is reduce them down to about 5kb (thumbnails) so that they are so small that nobody really wants to bother with them. And don't let her get any bigger ones until you know her a long time.

That does sound suspicious. I didn't think someone coulod download your picture off your profile.....
