I have been told that women out number men in America. This brings up the question....why is it men usually "chasing" women around instead of the other way around?????? Anyone??????

A hangover from past patriarchal societies where women were seen as less, as property, rather than individuals??????

I think maybe that is because women have higher standards, and they are used to us talking to them first, and asking them to please talk to us. I been trying to figure that one out for years! I like it better once we have little 2 way exchange going. Women like the guys that aren't interested in them. Something about the conquest, or the thrill of the chase. Then again, what do women want? Will somebody get back to me on that?

From: http://www.nationalatlas.gov/articles/people/a_gender.html

According to Census 2000, 281.4 million people were counted in the United States — 143.4 million of whom were female and 138.1 million male.

======================================

Obviously, the problem is that the ratio isn't one-sided enough. We need a ratio of about 23 women per one man.

then there will just be more lesbians

Well, as long as they're not ALL lesbians....there should be a few holdouts left! Let's say we reduce the ratio from 23-1 to 10-1 -- that could still work....

CCP, I agree -- we should just get Stephen Hawking to decide on who gets who -- he's smart....probably do a much better job of picking than I would....
