I would really like to have the FBI investigate EVERYONE on Capitol Hill, to find out if they are doing the same thing.
I would be willing to bet real money that MOST members of Congress and other government figures have done exactly this. |

There have been a series of non-issue issues in American politics, and I think this is another one. Basically, people use email all the time now. It is so second nature, that calling for them to segregate all their conversations into work and non-work-related categories, gets very hard. The more important thing to find out, is how secure each email system is. Given that a number of pure Government intranets have been hacked, suggesting that using only Government servers for email for the sake of security, doesn't really fly. |

Oh yeah, and secretary Carter is also "in charge" of U.S. cyber security. Sometimes ya just gotta wonder.

How exactly is the decision made between when an email is "government business" and when it's personal? That's the tricky part of this.
Is it "government business" to say in a personal email message, that you are going to attend a government function, for example? Picky people who are looking for a chance to complain that you were breaching he rules, would say yes. But people who were not, would say that it isn't government business unless you are actually directly discussing the details of the exact function, and you are actively coordinating with other participants in organizing it. Oh, and a minor mention: this is NOT identical to the fuss about Clinton's emails. That was a concern about her choosing to use secure servers which weren't located in the government building that some people thought they should be, but were still secure. This is about different email accounts. Not the same issue. |

The issue pertaining to Clinton is the presence of classified government documents on her private server. |

Secretary of Defense Carter has been using his personal E mail account to do government business?
Any chance they know this because the NSA keeps spying on them and telling the FBI when it happens?!?! What, is the guy a moron?
Maybe. Morons need representatives in government too. |
