Heck, I just appreciate ANY notice that I'm toast. I've had people dump me, and the way I found out, was when I stopped by to give them my latest gift of love, and discovered they were moving my replacement in. If they'd texted me, I could have saved the gift money.
So yep, I'm fine with text breakups. On the other hand, if someone DOES break up via something like a text, or a phone mail message, it's clear that they weren't EVER that into you. So it's informative in that way, too. Done is done. |

Is a relationship break up by text message acceptable or is the in person break up still valid??? Whatever floats your boat. No matter what you do there will be consequences. The severity of which will generally depend on either how into you they were, or how big of a control freak and image obsessed they are. |

If it is acceptable to break up via a telephone call, then why would it be unacceptable to use a more-modern form of communication? Ehhh, I'm (personally) not especially impressed by an over-the-phone breakup either, but I recognize that everyone has to make their own decision on that. Myself, I feel that if you cared for someone, you should have enough respect for them to look them in the eye, answer any reasonable questions they may have, & just show a basic level of respect for them. Kind of like .... ^^^^^ This. |

Also wondering if any of you still text? Like I said, rather obsolete, at least over here.
Almost 100% replaced by WhatsApp. I had to send a text a while back cos the dude didn't have a smart phone, which was odd to begin with BTW. I really had to think how that worked again  |

Just a simple text that does not require a reply. "I am sorry but our relationship has not been working. From the moment you read this know that we don't have any relationship except that we are both humans and humans do move on when something like this happens (well that's incase you don't know what to do next) bye and good luck
