has anyone seen a good movie lately? I need some suggestions...Im dyin here lol Im so over the same old plot lines...anything new and exciting out there??

I just watched "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" last night. It was a good movie...not exactly what I was expecting.

I just saw Transformers, which was better than I expected. I also saw Next today, with Nic Cage, Julianne Moore and Jessica Biel, and it was pretty good.

Shock Treatment, the sequel (or equal as some peole put it) to Rocky Horror Picture Show, is a VERY good movie. You need to watch it!

everyone is raving about transformers....I never really got into that stuff when I was a kid...will I need background to understand it...thats why I havent seen it yet

Across the Universe! I saw it last night! Freakin' amazing...odd at some points...really, really odd, but overall a good movie!

"The Holiday" is a good movie...Transformers is a good action flic, and "because I said so" is another good one.

Game Play was realy good...and Comeback was real funny..

I kind of missed out on Transformers as a kid, so i wasnt looking forward to seeing it. In retrospect, i wish I had seen it in the theater.

My brother just bought "Lord of War" and "When a stranger calls."

I enjoyed them both...even though I'm pro gun and Lord of War has a definate spin on it.

yeah i went to see 30 days of night, and it scared the c**p out of me. i can't sleep i'm scared,lol. and transformer was great they did a great job on that.

A good comedy Georgia Rule

Lord of War was a good movie but i'm bias because i like anything Nicolas Cage is in.I still haven't seen Ghost Rider but my brother said it was a good movie.i'm waiting for the new Resident Evil to come out

Lost Command
great american movie about the french war in Algeria in the 50's, with Anthony Quinn - his best role. And Claudia Cardinale ^^ She is so hot :-D

Asterix the Gaul
french animated movie about the adventures of a pair of gallic warriors fighting Rome; best animated movie ever made. There is also a newer one called Asterix and the Vikings or some such; also great.

Taalavisota - about finns defending their country from Soviet invasion in WW2.

Any Louis de Funes movie - he made a zillion comedies, with the most popular being the Gendarme series.

Janosik - polish movie about the adventures of a highlander who becomes a leader of a lovable band of robbers.

For off beat comedy, see or purchase Coupling - it's on PBS stations in the US or buy the DVD's - probably the best sitcom ever made (perhaps after Scrubs).

I just saw red dawn this morning. It was a good movie, but completely unexpected. Boondocks saints is wonderful, heavenly creatures, donnie darko, requiem for a dream,300, a clockwork orange, psycho(original), American psycho, American history x(I cry at the ending every time)50 first dates, A princess bride, Party monster, the office, ...I could be here for hours so I'm gonna go now.

And oh my goodness someone other than me saw Football Factory.
