I thought maybe he liked me . We used to chat a lot , everyday , sometimes pretty late at night. He even told me he liked talking to me and chatting with me was fun.
But one day i got to know that he loved someone else and didn't even like me. He used to talk to me only because he thought I'll feel bad if he stopped taking to me.
From that day I've stopped taking to him....

That sounds like a crush. And it sounds like you were trying to make something happen, & wishing for it.
He did NOT give you his number.
You persused him & assumed there was a relationship. He did NOT say there was.

Maybe, take a break & a take a step back & figure out why you do this to yourself. Because that is what happened.

Guys the thing here isn't weither he had a crush on a guy or not! but with him getting heartbroken after realizing the person he liked did not like him back, what he needed is support not questions or judgments
