I have been working on my friends book all day. The spacing was all messed up. It was fine before it got converted to a PDF file, but once it got converted it screwed up. So I tried to fix it. Spend almost 8 hours fixing the spacing and trying to convert it into a PDF. I FINALLY got it converted just for the spacing to f*ck up again. WHY? Can anybody tell me? I am at a lost. I do not know what else to do. I am getting so pissed off at it, it is not funny. It is driving me as insane as the writer!

If your friend's book is spaced correctly in its original format for page size and gutter, then the problem is your PDF program. I use PDF editor, a free program. You just click Print and then assign your pdf editor as the printer. It converts the file to pdf and keeps the spacing.

I am using Cute Writer and also have Adobe. And the spaceing is fine in Word Perfect, but the moment it converts to a PDF it screws all up.
