I see you,standing,searching
As if you have lost something
Or someone

The missing piece
Has left you confused
Unable to function
Unsure of yourself

Without it you are paralyzed
Nothing else matters
Nothing in your life exists
Without this piece

Oh that I could be
That missing piece
That part of you which
Without, you are helpless

That I could fill somehow
That lonely void in your soul
To overflow your heart with love
and complete your being

But alas, I am but a stranger
wondering and watching you from afar
Yet somehow I know that you
could fill the void in me

As quickly as I saw you
You are gone
Your way and I mine
Yet, for a moment
My heart was full
