how to Trick or Treat without leaving the couch:
When my sons were young they would bring home their big bag of candy after trick or treating with my wife. As this was back in the poison/ razor bade scare days, I would have them empty the bag of candy on the parlor table so I could check the candy. ( which I did of course) I would then open and eat a few Milky Ways under the pretense of checking them for poison. I can still hear them saying " any poison in that one Dad!! to which I always answered "No, but let me check another".. which they would quickly give me. I got away with this for 2 years before my wife ratted me out. Lol For what its worth, they pull this stunt on their own kids now. |

Finding that one of the greatest thing about being a Grandparent is you get to watch your kids sweat through all the same stuff you did but you know the outcome but don't have to tell them. lol
