Like a law that has been passed to have the rights to carry am armed gun?

More than a law. It is the acknowledgement that God exists and has provided us with many rights which will not be taken away by any government. Truth is self-evident.

no, it's a undeniable right to own guns, to protect ourselves from the government/outside invaders, like England in the late 1700's during our revolution.

actual text: A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Wow we are not aloud to carry a knife or anything that can be used as a weapon around the streets if caught we can get a fine or jail.
Guns are for hunting only but you have to have a licence and the gun has to be unarmed when walking around with it in the bush.
It must be locked at all times either in a locked cupboard or a container that is securely locked and hidden.
They are very tight here with them.

Do many carry them around your streets?

Many carry legally (in possession of a permit) others carry without a permit. Yes, many carry them around on their person or in their cars

We also shoot them occasionally. Other times we point them at would-be perpetrators to prevent a criminal act.

a few states have what we call an "open carry" laws, where people can have the gun holstered on their person....

Why is it that you don't have the same law for all your country?
Is it because of your size?
You have one president for your country why not one law for all?

Here we have one law for everyone.

We have what is called "States Rights", each state has the right to enact their own laws outside of the federal (national law). Open carry and concealed carry are states rights.

States rights is defined in the Tenth Amendment of the US Constitution.

Not all states have open carry or conceal carry laws, most do. Two states that ban both open and conceal carry are Illinois and New York.

Here in South Dakota we have both open and conceal carry permits. The cost is $10 and the permit is good for 4 years and you must get the permit from a local sheriff department. Once a resident passes a backgrund check, they are issued the permit.
