So Icarus had found the one,
A Princess with golden hair,
One so full of light and laughter,
A soul so free and fair.

Her heart he deeply yearned for,
To have all to himself,
To protect her with his magick,
This beautiful Princess Elf.

But fate, which had been kind to him,
Could also now be cruel,
His home was back across the ocean,
In which land would they rule?

For now, resolved to wait awhile,
And see what time would bring,
Content to sit beside her,
And hearken to her sing.
