I could agree with the hope comment if this were a school teacher from Vermont who was risking career, livelihood, and life by coming out,,
but this man has made millions already and is nearing 70, his situation is really not the same as most who have to struggle with the change I don't see what was so 'hopeful' about it except maybe to other near 70 millionaires considering a 'transition' |

Humm let me get this right he/she has not even been turned into a woman just a few months and gets woman of the year.. I knew there was a reason I do not buy any of those magazines  
I'm sorry but if they are going to give a Title to someone then give it to someone that deserves that title.. A Woman that was born as one, one that has actually done something and recognized for their efforts.. Not just cause they got a sex change...
I did not read it all or watch the video I feel it is all a big joke against Women that deserve the Title~~ I think you should have won it Txgal

I didn't pay any attention to it & assumed it may be a 'feminist perspective'... But, NOW, with this "Woman of the year " thing. I'd actually be ok with this choice. ..but only after he has his first period...or gives birth to a child....until then I will never consider him a woman.
Why should he only ger the benefits if a women without the work? it's like someone claiming to be a plumber, carrying around a plumber's tool box, but when you ask them to fix something they say "well I can't do that"...so OK maybe they're a retired plumber. .so you ask "when was the the last job you were on?"..they answer "oh I've NEVER been able to do that!"....so then in conclusion "you're not a plumber! just in costume!"....their answe "well I really FEEL like a plumber...so I one"...."no idiot you're playing dress up, if you are unable to do the things that every REAL women is able to do, you're not a woman, you're playing dress-up" |
