Why do people nudge me, wink at me or send a short message and then never reply when I say hello back? strange people! Playing hard to get on a dating site is laughable to say the least!

I don't think a nudge is the same as a wink. I don't think they are playing hard to get sending those to you. I think they are disturbed Send them a kick & then dump them

A wink/nudge is just a way of flirting. Like all dating sites, you have your serious people. You send them a wink and they will send you one back. Then you have the ones that think it's a useless feature. Instead of sending a wink, send a message. They are equally serious. Just in a different way. Then you have your time wasters. This is what you will come across the most. They are not really interested in you. They just want to make you think they are. They are prob married or have a boyfriend. But they love attention. So they send out useless winks, nudges and messages just to see how many they will get back. Or how many men will message them. It's an ego thing. And others, They just don't think or don't care how flakey they come off looking. The best thing I can tell you to do, Don't waste your time with winks/nudges. Most all women like a man to pursue them. You do that by writing them. If they don't answer, don't worry about it and don't take it personal. Just move on to the next one. I've had it to happen to me more times than I care to count. Write me, then when I write back, no answer. You're going to come across all types of people on dating sites. Just learn to roll with it.
