Is it just me, or did the world go mad the last few weeks?

Seems like there have been marriage proposals, intense declarations of love, and all sorts of wild things rolling around.

Is there something in the water, or a new instant mix out, where after 12 seconds of saying hello, everyone runs for the wedding rings?

And then....spontaneous combustion, it all blows up in someone's face....

I think I have recessive genes or something, doesn't it take more than an hour, a week, a month, a year to start to understand someone?

When did relationships shift into reality tv mode?

Complete with ad breaks, desperate housewives, and popcorn?

I think jess that people just want so badly to be in love.....without really being in love.......

I find myself a little more conservative in the heart department. Decided I was going to get it right the first time. So this may sound young but I consider it a safety check on my vision because I hate being single sooooo much. But after I pass a "Cannidate" for possible long term committment She has to then pass Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Brother checks. Looking at a possible right now - She's passing my exams so far but I'm not yet ready to bring her before "The board of inquiry" just yet. ---- My two cents

Yea, I can't believe all the stuff going on either. I think it's in the water...

I just don't trust not to be affected by the rose colored glasses syndrome. I've found I get to close to be objective at times so This is a safety. (And a check to see how she'd fit with the rest of the family (Important when the extended cousins and such live so close.)
