What part does your faith play in your search for a companion, friend, best friend (or whatever it is you are searching for on here)?

i am not religions i agree with Soufie on that one and if some ones life is better by talking to some one that they can not see or hear (well most cant see or hear but some can) then good for them <shrug> but truth be told religion scares the hell out of me cause it divides a lot of us humans, and way WAY too much blood shed has been done over it : (

Belief (no matter what the belief) is important in a relationship IMO

I think u might know my answer by now non whatsoever My faith is my faith It doesn't bother me what my companion, friend, bestie, crush, nsa, love's faith is (if any) I love all religions I love all cultures I love all souls Have a nice day, LIFE

What part does your faith play in your search for a companion, friend, best friend (or whatever it is you are searching for on here)? ...my faith is what pulls me through tough times...my God is my best friend...I don't have a title for my faith(Christian, Muslim, Buddhist...ect)I just like the idea of a God that will make those that hurt others feel the pain they inflicted...especially those that hurt people in his name...as far as my faith influencing my choices of who I choose as friend, companion ect...it does to a degree... I don't like to argue about faith as there is no proof for any "religion"...spare me the book quotes...it's what you choose to believe...but I do choose people with similar thoughts on it...

What part does your faith play in your search for a companion, friend, best friend (or whatever it is you are searching for on here)? I find faith and belief as a lifestyle. I am attracted to the way a person is. It comes naturally. What I or the person believes seems to be in the way we are. Time will tell but I find who I have ever been closest to just happens without a talk about what we believe. Our lives seem to just click.

For me I could not be with someone who did not believe in a spiritual realm and eternity. It is that important to me. It defines so much of who I am and how I walk this planet. I would have little in common with an athiest and I would not feel that deep connection with them. I am forever learning myself, so I would never presume that what I know now is complete truth. Religion scares me, I do not fit in and I refuse to be put in a box. So I walk with my God to the best of my ability with the knowledge I have now.

while I can't say I'm perfect in how I live my life, my faith had always been a guiding factor in the choices I make. while I never really used to think in those terms, it really sunk in one day with a particular man I was dating. we had gone to church and were kneeling to give thanks. and I remember thinking this is something I want more of. I don't look for anyone if a specific religion. but someone who has strong faith and whose ideas are compatible with mine.
