Emotional, spiritual, and physical intimacy are the foundation of any great relationship.

I read this a few days ago and wanted to share it...

Emotional intimacy is sharing facts, feelings, opinions, dreams, fears and frustrations. Experiencing happiness and sadness together as if the two were one person. Living your life openly, without secrets or fear of disapproval. Conversations are frequent and expected because sharing is vital to building and maintaining this dimension of intimacy.

Spiritual intimacy can take place only between two people who share a belief in a Higher Power. But, when a couple share their spiritual lives, they pray and together, talk about spiritual issues and encourage one another in their faith. By doing this, they grow together in their relationship with the Divine One.

Physical intimacy is equally important. Couples who think that spiritual and emotional intimacy are enough only fool themselves.


Let down the walls in every area of your being to experience the kind of intimacy that is intended for you.

I am getting half of the first part now with some of my friends. I guess one out of two ain't bad. A friend needed a ride to work and home because her husband's truck was almost out of gas. She offered to pay me five bucks for gas but I said she didn't need offer me money. She told me to keep because she might a ride again and to remember where she lived at. Then she washed my windowshield real good so I could see out of it. Then she gave me a cat in a carrier and told me not to forget to take the cat out of the car when I got home. Then she gave a carton of fresh farm eggs. I then asked her if it was okay with her husband if I held her for ransom but she said her husband wouldn't probably go for the idea because then he wouldn't have anybody to clean the house.
