I would like to tie the knot with the right guy. Both really tying the knot, as in a handfasting, where the expression came from, as well as normal marriage, so it's legal --> Handfastings aren't legal in The Netherlands.
I guess I'm greedy ... wanting both

The thing is people are human; you can love them with every fiber of your being and if they chose to love another or just leave they will. Only a fool believes that they can change the outcome.

Sure it is! But we'd all still want an emotionally mature quality man, that won't ever change :) There's plenty of women, thousands, that have worked through their issues and are ready for a new partner, just can't find a dito male :/ And that's not bashing, seriously thinking this is the case. If you'd just take this site and make a list of women that are ready, honest and decent, not bitter ... then do the same with men ... and pair them for the heck of it ... I think you'd have a whole lot of women left over without a man ... . . |

I think you'd have a whole lot of women left over without a man ... . . well, speaking from experience only, i would like to think i have messaged some of these women, but have had very few replies, if any, so maybe they are just been picky? i'd be more than happy to meet anyone but it seems most people on are just happy yappers
and yes i am emotionally mature i've never cried at a film or tv programme ( excluding E.T cos i was only 6)

Well, it would be cheaper than paying a cleaning woman I suppose.
Yes. I would like to find true love and I don't want to end up as a lonely old man. Women don't really see me as husband material though and it's not bitterness but I've put myself through a lot of heartache over it and that's effected my career and made it even more unlikely that anyone would want a serious relationship with me. The women that I've been with have all wanted a casual arangement but expected me to be faithful until they've had enough of me, or found someone that they think can do more for them than I'm able to and I think that it's about time that I get my self respect back and stop trying to be such a nice guy by giving them more than they're giving me. |
