I think for me I would rather have a fresh picked flower on a day that has no meaning at all. Just because he thought of me. Chocolates while fine on Valentines day.. what is even better sit down next to me watch a movie of my choice and offer to share that candybar.. I like your list... I'm not a particularly good woman, but I mean well, which is sort of important. I think the trick "romance" is to be willing to do other things in addition to hand picked flowers and chocolates and all that stuff. I had a guy who had the romance part down to a science but he was clingy and childish and disrespectful, which negated everything good he tried to do. So a nice balance would be great.
