Most white women I know only date white guys, because it is more comfortable for them. I also know one white woman that would date any race other than white, although she was married to a white guy for 10 years. She even tried to look more middle eastern to attract, middle east guys. So there are no hard fast rules, it's just whom the woman is more attractive too. Just like saying old white guys like to date young skinny blonde women. Again, just a selection process, that is probably buried deep within the person.

Most people I know date within their own race, some people say "they don't see color" but it's usually the ones who are already dating/married within their own race, so you can't really prove it either way. I think the main reason people date within their own race is more about culture than anything else, it's hard to have a connection with someone when you don't share the same culture, so many misunderstandings and conflict. Also, everyone has preferences in regards to attraction, and there's nothing wrong with that.
