It's a scene straight out of a Hollywood movie - scores of strange unidentified flying objects that appear to melt into the sky.

This video - shot in Hope Valley on Rhode Island on the east coast of the United States - is so odd it's provoking a number of theories online.


The lady who shot the footage is overhead mulling over what could possibly be cause the other-worldly occurrence .

Some space-watchers are convinced the dispersing droplets are caused by UFO plasma melting into the atmosphere.
