No, I don't think it's always true. Hasn't ever been true for me. Never regretted any break up I've had. I also, have always remained on good terms with all of my exes. Losing something doesn't actually mean a breakup. That is a choice that u made. I'm sure that is just fine. It is unappreciating a Jewel when it is in our hands. We tend to take things forgranted when we have something. It's like have u notice how fans go on and on about a decreased celebrity once they pass away? Some of the stuff they wouldn't have thought of if they were still alive. Well, this is just my opinion. Cheers!!! |

not for me, I pretty much meant to lose it when I realized what it was,,,,lol
maybe we are in a culture where people move on too fast and too easily when everything is not perfect or when that one person shows up with the element missing in the relationship again though, for me, I have to be sure on SEVERAL LEVELS that its done, before I move on,,,, |

Yeah, observations like those are sort of truisms. Sometimes I think that with a little extra work, we can make something more of them than just wry commentary.
Like reacting to the realization that we under-appreciated someone or something in our past, by making more of an effort to try to notice other things we still have, which we might be taking for granted. |
